Vilac - High-quality wooden toys for babies and children
The dreamy history of the toy brand Vilac begins around 1910, when a Monsieur Villet opens a small wooden toy workshop. His first toy was still hand-carved and a huge success. In the 50s, his son took over the company.
Vilac has been designing and producing creative and beautiful wooden toys for the whole world for more than 100 years. The French company, which produces most of its products near the Jura Mountains in the town of Moirans-en-Montagne, attaches great importance to quality in the selection of wood and the processing, so that children can fully live out their innovative ideas with the natural material wood. Vilac is an absolute specialist in the areas of outdoor toys, role-playing games, board games and wooden puzzles for young and old. The woods used in the products are mainly beech, boxwood and pine.
Traditional toys in high quality
To the delight of its customers, Vilac is always happy to enter into cooperation agreements with renowned artists and designers such as Nathalie Lété or Ingela P. Arrhenius from Stockholm. Works of art by Keith Haring are also picked up again and again, or the popular Barpapa family is a welcome guest. Together with these artists and the unique design of Vilac, small toy masterpieces for children are created. Wonderful throwing games with tin cans in a great design, stacking games, children's theatres, a Noah's Ark made of wood or even instruments for children are just a few examples of successful toys from Vilac. Of course, all toys meet the EU safety requirements and have the CE mark.
